VBS Information
Vacation Bible School is approaching and you may still be thinking about what to do for your 2018 VBS Mission Project. Please consider our “Family Time” Project for Baptist Children’s Home.

There are a number of very good reasons and benefits to partner with BCH. Whether you have already chosen Family Time as your VBS Missions Project or are still deciding, the following information should be helpful to you.
Child Engagement: A good VBS project gives the kids something to rally around and even encourages them to bring their friends. Your children will be directly helping other children in the U.S. and in Myanmar. Kids and families love that! Even younger children can relate to spending time together in the family room and around the dining table. That’s where much of our Family Time takes place.
Ease and Flexibility: You can set a general goal or set a series of goals with added rewards. You can use pieces of furniture to make challenging goals based upon the size of your VBS. Estimated costs for furnishings include: love seat, $600, family room chair, $400, dining room chair $200 (each), and a large sectional sofa, $2200. Our Myanmar partners helped us determine a general goal of $4,500 to help furnish large family/dining rooms in two homes. Our overall goal is $35,000.
Whole Church Involvement: Connect the entire Church family to your Vacation Bible School by making the BCH Family Time Project Church-wide. Everyone loves to help kids. All generations can participate in the ministry and the kids get excited about reaching a higher goal.
